Default 1998 Nissan Frontier p/u dash gauges are not working?

My dash gauges went out nothing is working (electronic) they went out then they started to work again, now they went out and have not worked for the past week. I checked the fuses and I tried to open the back of the gauges to check for loose wires, but didn't find anything loose. Could the main board on the dash be fried and my other ? is does the 1998 Nissan Frontier suffer from this problem dash?

My 2002 Nissan Frontier is doing same thing--off and on. Did you fix it yet? Some people saying caused by ground problems. Let me know steveichyo@yahoo.com.

If you repair them often, then what is the problem with them? Do the connections require a little dielectric grease over the connectors or are you replacing burned out circuits on the board?
