dont know how to fix it.? My Frontier has a manuel transmission, and it has that safety feature where you have to push the clutch in before it will start. I went to start it and I didnt push the clutch in all the way. It was right at the point where it triggers that safety device and I turned the ignition to start it and the engine barely started to turn over and my foot came back a little which disengaged the starter. Right when that happened my trucks' electrical all went out. After a few seconds the electrical would come back on but all the lights were flickering and the beeper sounded wierd and it wouldnt start. Since then I cant start my truck and have to push start it. But it does start when I push start it. What can I do to fix it???

replace the safety switch for the clutch or cut the wires (2 should be two of them )and twist them together bypassing the switch

sounds more like an alarm problem. if you theink its the safety switch, just disconnect it and put a jumper wire in.

i had a nissan hard body standard transmission with a similar problem, after trouble shooting everything under the sun, i found a fusible link coming off of the battery had blown. easy enough place to start.
