...or Nissan Frontier? Here's the thing. I'm looking for great gas mileage, but at the same time I can't stand driving cars. They just feel cheap and unsafe to me. So I've narrowed my choices down to either the little Nissan Frontier or the equally little Ford Ranger.

I know the Frontier has a slightly bigger 4 cylinder engine with the 2.4 as opposed to the Ranger's 2.3, but wouldn't the gas mileage still be comparable? I'm looking for at least 25mpg highway out of a truck with an automatic transmission.
