Both with 50,000 miles, Both cost around $13-14k(our limit). We need a reliable SUV with O.K. gas mileage.

1. My Girl and I are going to go on camping trips, hitting the snow, beach etc...
2. We already have a 99 escort as a commuter, everyday vehicle
3. We want something that is roomy and looks good at the same time.
4. We Plan to keep the vehicle for about 4 or 5 years.

Which is a better buy and why? Is there another SUV in that price range?
